Onboard Cooking Demonstration: Join an acclaimed chef from the prestigious New Orleans Cooking School for a cooking demonstration and learn to make pralines, jambalaya or gumbo. Everyone will make these delicious dishes, and enjoy each one that he or she prepares.

Mint Julep Demonstration at Oak Alley: Learn the secrets to making the perfect Southern mint julep, while enjoying the comforts of the grand home and its peaceful canopy of ancient oak trees. A mint julep is a cocktail traditionally made with mint leaf, bourbon, sugar and water.

Louisiana Culinary Institute Tour: The Louisiana Culinary Institute prepares students for the flavors of the South by giving them the skills and knowledge to prepare delectable dishes. Spend time at the Institute with Certified Executive Chef David Tiner.

New Orleans Tasting Tour: Go food tasting on this New Orleans Cooking Tour. You will explore the city while stopping at many of the places most famous for their food.

Special Gifts: Each passenger on this cruise will receive an American Cruise Lines chef apron and recipe cards for each tasting and dish.
